Bindrune for Soul Healing, Renewal, and Inspiration
If you are new to working with bindrunes, I suggest you read the introductory bindrune post here, then return to this post to read about this specific bindrune. Remember that working with bindrunes, as with working with any kind of magic, does not carry guaranteed results, and may produce results quite different from what you expect.
This bindrune was designed for soul healing through connection with divine energies, leading to renewal and inspiration. It could be useful for someone who is recovering from an illness of any kind, or restoring yourself after a long and difficult passage in your life. It could also work well for someone who is feeling burnt out and disconnected from their self and their life.
Chalc (left tile, purple in bindrune): Chalc represents the sacred chalice used in making offerings. Chalc also represents the soul, the container of your best self. This is the you, at present, feeling empty and in need of refilling.
Laguz (center tile, light blue in bindrune): Laguz is the rune of flow—of water, of energy, of thoughts, ideas, and emotions. The flow feels stuck, or perhaps turned off, as you are out of energy of every kind. Laguz helps restore the energy flow, so you can be healed and whole.
Ansuz (right tile, dark blue in bindrune): Ansuz brings divine healing energies and messages of encouragement. Your Gods see you depleted and exhausted, and offer you what you need to return to a balanced state of being.
Ansuz is supporting Laguz, and both are flowing into Chalc, and thus the divine energies feed the flow into your soul, restoring and renewing you.
This bindrune was done in colored pencil. I tried to draw it using fine point calligraphy markers, but the inks muddied, so this one is only in pencil.
You could put a drop of peppermint oil to raise your spirits, rose for loving energies, or rosemary for revitalizing energies. You could also use your favorite oil on it to reinforce the energy with your personal scent. You can also use a magical oil, such as a hoodoo oil or other type of specially prepared oil.
Use this bindrune—and all bindrunes—entirely at your own risk.
